Understand the impact and the uncertainty

See what your advertising added

Review spend, incremental sales, sales lift, and test iROAS together. The result describes the advertising, audience, market, and period covered by the study.

Use the AI summary to prepare a readout, then check the underlying numbers and record your conclusion in the study comments.

$300,000 ÷ $100,000 = 3.0 iROAS

Each $1 spent generated an estimated $3 in incremental revenue within the study scope.

Illustrative figures. A revenue return is not a profit margin.

Make decisions with the range in view

Sellforte derives an iROAS distribution and 90% interval from the results Meta reports. A narrow range gives a more precise estimate; a wide range leaves more uncertainty.

Compare the full range with your business economics. The study’s average return does not tell you the return on the next dollar of spend. For that decision, consider marginal incremental ROAS alongside the wider measurement evidence.

Compare results in your test library

Keep Conversion Lift studies alongside geo tests and uploaded A/B tests. Filter by test type, country, channel, status, or dates to find the evidence behind a new question.

Before comparing results, check that the studies cover comparable outcomes, media activity, and periods. Keep business context and follow-up decisions with the result.

Use study evidence in daily MMM calibration

When MMM is part of your setup, Sellforte matches relevant Meta study outcomes to the model’s KPI and media activity. Studies are weighted using factors including recency and statistical strength, and the resulting priors feed the daily model run.

Trace the evidence through the contributing studies and see how much influence each result receives.

Conversion Lift Studies FAQs

What is a Conversion Lift study?

A Conversion Lift study uses a randomized holdout to estimate the additional conversions or sales caused by advertising. For this workflow, Meta designs and runs the experiment; Sellforte processes and presents the reported results.

Does Sellforte run the study in Meta?

The study is set up and executed in Meta. Sellforte helps you review and use its results. It does not re-run the underlying holdout experiment. Read the Conversion Lift guide.

Do I need to upload every study?

For connected MMM calibration, the native Meta connector retrieves historical and ongoing studies automatically. You can also upload a completed study’s original XLSX export through the Conversion Lift workflow. Learn about automatic study retrieval.

Which advertising platforms are supported?

The Conversion Lift import and connected calibration workflows described here currently support Meta.

Can I review studies without MMM?

Yes. Conversion Lift import is included in the standalone Incrementality Testing product. Automatic MMM calibration requires the relevant MMM plan and setup. Compare plans and capabilities.

How is this different from a geo test?

A Meta Conversion Lift study uses a randomized user holdout. A Sellforte Geo Test evaluates an intervention in selected regions using regional data and a synthetic control. Both provide evidence about a defined intervention. Compare incrementality test types.

What if the result is inconclusive?

An inconclusive study leaves the effect uncertain. Review the interval, study design, outcome, and measurement window before deciding what to test next. An uncertain result alone does not establish that the advertising had no effect.
