Service Description – Sellforte’s Online Service

1 General
This Service Description provides an overview of Sellforte’s Online Service. Sellforte may enhance or update the Service Description over time based on user feedback, technical developments, or evolving service capabilities. The most recent version is available on this page or upon request.
Sellforte’s Online Service is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, licensed to the Customer for the duration of the applicable Order Form or Statement of Work, unless otherwise specified. The Online Service includes the generation of data-driven analysis results (“Analysis Results”). Customer Success Services and Professional Services may be provided separately if agreed in the applicable Order Form or Statement of Work.
The Service is governed by the Agreement, which consists of the applicable Order Form or Statement of Work and its appendices, such as Sellforte’s Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used in this Service Description have the meanings defined in those documents, unless otherwise specified.
2 Overview and use of the Online Service
The Online Service is a multitenant SaaS platform provided by Sellforte. While the same infrastructure supports multiple customers, each Customer has access to a separate, secure user interface and data environment. The Customer may authorize multiple Users to access the Online Service, each with their own account. User management features are included.
The Online Service is accessible via modern web browsers. The Customer is responsible for maintaining suitable devices, internet access, and endpoint security. For enhanced security, access may be restricted to designated IP addresses, enforced through multi-factor authentication (MFA), or otherwise controlled, as agreed between the Parties.
The Online Service supports business users in generating insights based on statistical analysis of their own data (“Customer Content”). Typical use cases include:
- Measuring the impact of marketing and commercial activities on KPIs such as revenue, margin, or subscriptions;
- Understanding performance drivers based on historical trends;
- Estimating ROI or contribution of specific campaigns or actions; and
- Supporting budgeting, planning, and strategic decisions.
Depending on the agreed scope, the Online Service includes the following features:
- Connecting and managing Customer Content Sources and uploading of Customer Content;
- Generating and exploring Analysis Results and Customer Content;
- Simulating budget allocation scenarios; and
- Managing Users and access controls.
3 Data requirements
Sellforte accepts Customer Content from the Customer only from agreed customer data sources ("Customer Content Sources") and other sources specified in the applicable Order Form or Statement of Work. All Customer Content must be delivered in accordance with Sellforte’s instructions. To ensure proper generation of Analysis Results, the Customer Content must:
- Be accurate, valid, and consistent;
- Be structured as time-series data;
- Be machine-readable; and
- Use a suitable level of granularity (e.g., daily, unless otherwise agreed).
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that Customer Content Sources are properly connected and that Customer Content is accessible to Sellforte in the correct format and quality. The update frequency, availability, and quality of the Analysis Results depend on this.
Sellforte is responsible for all data sources and data that it provides itself.
4 Generation of Analysis Results
Once onboarding is complete, the Online Service will aim to generate Analysis Results daily (unless otherwise agreed in the Order Form or Statement of Work). These results are made accessible via the Online Service user interface.
Sellforte uses established statistical and analytical techniques to generate Analysis Results. However, the quality of the results is influenced by various factors, including:
- The completeness and accuracy of Customer Content;
- The nature of the Customer’s business or market; and
- The inclusion and exclusion of different external variables (e.g., seasonality, weather, major events, changes in business environment).
5 Onboarding
Before the regular generation of Analysis Results begins, an onboarding process is conducted. During onboarding:
- Sellforte provides instructions and documentation for connecting Customer Content Sources and delivering Customer Content;
- The Customer delivers the required Customer Content in accordance with these instructions; and
- Sellforte processes the data and generates the first set of Analysis Results.
Onboarding is deemed complete when the first Analysis Results are accessible through the Online Service. After this point, regular daily updates proceed in line with the agreed configuration.
6 Excluded activities
Unless explicitly agreed in writing in the applicable Order Form or Statement of Work, the following activities are not included in the scope of the Online Service:
- Cleaning, transforming, or preparing data for upload or integration;
- Interpreting or drawing conclusions from the Analysis Results;
- Strategic advisory, business consulting, or data storytelling services;
- Building custom models, analytics, reports, or dashboards outside the standard configuration;
- Expanding the scope agreed in the Order Form or Statement of Work; or
- Any Professional Services not expressly described in the applicable Order Form or Statement of Work.
These services may be offered separately under a Professional Services engagement, subject to applicable pricing and terms.
